About Us
Willawarrin Public School is located on the mid-north coast of New South Wales, at Willawarrin in the Upper Macleay Valley. Willawarrin is about 30km west of Kempsey, in a rural area. The school draws from a widespread community within a 40km radius. Students come from various family backgrounds and lifestyles.
Parents are active in the school, fund-raising by the P & C has helped to build the basketball court, outdoor art and craft room, new canteen and provided air conditioning for the school. Parents also help with the Parents as Tutors reading program for older students, Parents as Maths Tutors, PALs, sport on Fridays and also with classroom reading, music, band and other subjects.
